This Privacy Policy applies to our website foodventureprogram.com and all related sites, landing pages, online courses, live and recorded classes, and services (collectively, the “Site” and “Services”).

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Site or Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent (COPPA). If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

4. Live and Recorded Classes
Live sessions and replays may capture your video, voice, name, and likeness when your camera or microphone is on. Recordings are stored securely and kept for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion. You may turn your camera/microphone off at any time.

5. Third Parties We Share Information With
We only share with trusted service providers under contract:
• Payment processors – Stripe, PayPal, Square, Apple Pay, Google Pay (to process transactions)
• Course & hosting platforms – Kajabi, Teachable, Zoom, Thrive Architect, Word Press, Vimeo (to deliver courses and recordings)
• Cloud storage – AWS, Google Cloud, FileBird (secure data storage)
• Email & marketing tools – ConvertKit, FunnelKit, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign (newsletters and updates)
• Analytics providers – Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar (understand usage and improve the Site)
• Advertising partners – Meta, Google Ads (retargeting and display advertising)
• Affiliate & partner marketing – Select ingredient suppliers, equipment brands, sales partners, food industry partners, certification partners (to offer relevant products/services and earn commissions – see Section 9).

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and marketing. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other applicable jurisdictions may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including targeted advertising and affiliate marketing) here:

• Account & course data – 7 years after last activity
• Class recordings – maximum 24 months
• Payment records – 7 years
• Marketing subscribers – until unsubscribe + 90 days
• Analytics data – up to 26 months (or anonymized earlier)

9. Affiliate & Partner Marketing (Commission-Based)
From time to time we may share your name and email address with carefully selected partners (e.g., ingredient suppliers, kitchen-equipment brands, or certification programs we recommend) so they can offer you relevant products or services. If you purchase from them, we may earn a commission.
You can opt out at any time by:
• Clicking “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” (Section 6)
• Replying “STOP” to any message

We will remove you within 10 business days.

10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in the United States or elsewhere. We protect it using Standard Contractual Clauses and ensure processors provide safeguards comparable to Canadian law.

We use SSL encryption, reputable payment processors, and industry-standard measures. No internet transmission is 100% secure.

12. Data Breach Notification
If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (and provincial authorities) as soon as feasible and without unreasonable delay.

13. Your Rights
